Admission to Discovery Academy is based on a broad range of criteria including but not limited to: grade history, recent test scores, physical and immunization records, teacher recommendations, disciplinary history and class size limits.
All new students are admitted for a 30-day probationary period.

To Avoid Tempers and Congestion:
Fines will be issued for parking in circle or Pioneer driveway.
Drop off Box:
For tuition payment checks is provided in office.
Credit card and automatic withdraw is also available.
Tuition is due by Tuesday of each week/month and a $5 / day fee will be issued if payment is late.
If tuition is not paid by the following Friday, the student cannot return to school until the balance is paid and risks loss of slot.
Entry Key Pad:
Do not share the school entry code of entry key pad with anyone you do not know well. ID's will be checked and only authorized persons on your list will be allowed to pickup. Changes must be in writing.
School Visits:
No wandering around school allowed at any time.
Visitor pass must be requested and authorized at least 48 hours in advance for the safety of students and teachers.
Teacher Conferences:
Teachers are here to teach children not to chat with adults during school hours.
All conferences must be scheduled through email or a note to teacher for an after school appointment-- convenient to all parties.
Private School Students dropped off BEFORE 8:30 a.m.
must participate in Tai Chi exercises on basketball court.
Private School:
Hours before 8:00 am or After 4:00 pm are considered before and after school and subject to additional fees of $45 per week. |
