Discovery Academy Performed the Pledge at the Daytona International Speedway
What an unforgettable day for our Discovery Academy community! This weekend, our students and staff had the incredible honor of participating in NASCAR’s ARCA race, a moment that none of us will soon forget!
Our Students Led the Pledge
Our students were invited to perform the Pledge of Allegiance before the race, and they represented Discovery Academy with confidence, respect, and pride.
Standing on a stage like that takes courage. The noise, the crowd, the energy in the air. It can feel overwhelming. But our students rose to the occasion beautifully. They stood tall, spoke clearly, and demonstrated the character and leadership we work to nurture every day.
Moments like this remind us why we are so proud. Not just of what our students do, but of who they are becoming.
A National Anthem Moment We Will Never Forget
Adding to the magic of the day, our very own Ms. Gina had the honor of singing the National Anthem.
She delivered it with the beauty, strength, and passion we have always admired in her. Watching one of our educators step onto a national stage and represent our school with such professionalism was truly special.
We are fortunate to have teachers who do more than educate. They inspire. Ms. Gina shared her gift with thousands in attendance and created a moment our students will carry with them for years.

Beyond the Track: Inspiration in Action
We are incredibly grateful to NASCAR and Cody for giving our students this opportunity. Experiences like this extend learning beyond the classroom and create memories that last a lifetime.
We were also honored by a visit from the Air Force Thunderbirds. They took time to talk with our students, answer questions, and take photos. Their presence sparked curiosity and excitement in powerful ways.
Real-world experiences matter. They help students imagine bigger futures and see new possibilities for themselves.
